How does this place not have 5 stars?? They’re absolutely the best place for Indian food. The food is wonderful. The people are super sweet. The place is clean. A nice place to have a date or a family lunch/dinner or even just eating alone. They’ll always have my business.
I've come here often and enjoyed the variety of spiced foods, esp their rice and rice pudding and Mango Lassi. Nice clean and roomy and friendly atmosphere. And the prices are right-on.
The lunch buffet is very good. They had tandoori chicken, chicken jalfrezi, butter chicken, navratan korma and saag with naan. All of them were good. The desserts, gajar halwa and kheer were great.

I’m a Brit living in Cal. Growing up in the UK Indian food was our staple and my fav (and still is). I’ve tried most Indian restaurants in the local area and this place hands down has the best food. Just tried the Hyderabad Lamb for the first time. Omg. Nothing bad here - just excellent Indian cuisine.

Delicious! Lunch buffet 7 days a week, 11-230pm. So fresh and tasty. Good variety too! Freshly cooked Naan brought to your table. Hot tea and dessert are also available. Great service! Looking forward to my next visit!
I'm from Cyprus and living in San Jose CA for the last 4 years and Indian cuisine is my favorite. As an international flight attendant the best Indian restaurants was always in the UK. I've tried many different restaurants in the bay area and wasn't happy at all. At Emperor of India the taste and quality of Indian cuisine reminds me the authentic taste of what I was used for. Today for the 3rd time dining in I met with the owner and I'm pleased to say how professional and polite person is. Thank you guys, see you soon!
Delicious food with good service. It did seem to take a bit of time for the food to arrive. Glad we had an appetizer first. Had dinner but lunch buffet sounds like an awesome way to get to try lots of different items.
